Baahubali 2 Review: Depicting ‘Why Kattappa Killed Baahubali’ brilliantly

The speculations, apprehensions and crossed fingers are finally put to rest with the release of Baahubali 2 : The Conclusion. Released worldwide today, Baahubali 2 offers thunderous action, incredible visual effects, heart-wringing emotion and amazing performances by the entire cast.

Much to people’s joy, Baahubali was only a prelude to another magnum opus: Baahubali 2. The conclusion picks up from where Kattappa had killed Baahubali. Prabhas has imbibed so much of Baahubali’s character that you tend to feel that he belongs to the long gone era. Rana has managed to impress the masses in his antagonist role.
Director Rajamouli has made sure that emotions between Prabhas – Anushka and Prabhas – Ramya Krishna are brought on to screen with utmost perfection. It is no exaggeration when we say that he has taken Indian cinema to the next level.
MM Keeravani’s music compliments the larger than life scenes. Needless to say, Baahubali series is a one of a kind where female characters are portrayed as extremely strong women. Ramya Krishna, Anushka and Tammanna grab your attention for all the right reasons.
Cinematographer Senthil deserves a special mention for juxtaposing the real and the surreal with such finesse. Celebrities have been tweeting about this gigantic project and are all praise for Rajamouli and the entire cast and crew of the project. This epic film has taken the highest occupancy in the history of Indian cinema. The first day collections were expected to be a whooping 50 crore. 6500 screens across the country have witnessed this box-office shattering hit. Every single person involved with Baahubali should take a bow for its remarkable success.
